Excelsior Flooring only utilises the manufacturing techniques of a linear calendar system which ensures consistency from one production run to the next. The digitally controlled mechanics calibrate each layer of the plank as it is plied together and is key to the stability rating that our planks are recognised for. Unlike the inconsistent Chinese option to use a Hot Press production method for the making of LVP, the entire process from purchasing raw materials to the methodology used within the procedures for creating the perfect plank, are regulated through strict ISO accredited guidelines.
DESIGN QUALITY
In recent years, the quality of the printed image used in the LVP flooring has been significantly improved. New digital scanning and printing technology has helped to achieve a very realistic wood, stone and fabric look. The latest embossing techniques has contributed to a superior finished texture and feel of LVP.
DURABILITY
Our LVP is one of the most durable floor coverings currently available on the market and perfectly replicates the look of real wood. A variety of plank thicknesses, wear layers and protective coatings will help you to choose the right specification for the environment you are installing the product into. The manufacturing process includes a number of ingredients that are included within the surface areas of the plank to ensure that durability is maintained throughout the expected lifetime of the product. By carefully plying each layer of the planks construction together by a digitally controlled calendar process, you can be confident that the stability of the plank is perfected to prevent unnecessary expansion or contraction after installation.
